Some local sales and shopping events are happening around the City this week, starting with the lovely Third Street Habit. Located at 153 N. Third Street, Old City boutique is giving back twice throughout the month of December. Just bring in a new book and Third Street Habit will not only donate it on behalf of the Lundy Law Library Express, to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and you will also receive 10% off your entire purchase! It’s a perfect way to get some Holiday goodness done while shopping for your fashionista. If you’re looking to shop for the artsy type, Denise Fike Studios on 734 Pine Street, is hosting a holiday trunk show December 14, from 5-9pm. You can enjoy some wine and snacks while picking up pieces from local artists Denise Fike, Chris Bonner for ceramics and jewelry by Alison Hunt, Eleanor Kennell & Evelyn Taylor.
The guys can get cleaned up for the holidays by 2B Groomed Barbaring Studio, Avenue Swank and Kembrel next Tuesday the 18th, from 5pm-9pm at the Kembrel Midtown Shop located on 1219 Locust Street. The Head to Toe: Men’s Holiday Men’s Grooming Event will be an evening of complementary hot shaves and shoe shining by 2B Groomed and new apparel and accessories from Kembrel. There will be plenty of music and gift cards to Smokin’ Betty’s BBQ (sooooo good), Uber Car Service, and delicious liquor from Art in The Age.

Over in Manyunk, pop-up store “Union Stock” will be open at 4347 Main Street this weekend only (Dec 14-15th), selling local products from reclaimed barn wood furniture, handprinted textiles and pillows, screen-printed baby items, to jewelry. Hours will be from Friday, 6-8pm and 11am-8pm for the rest of the weekend. “A Perfect Gift Shop” is another Manyunk pop-up shop on 4361 Main Street from 12pm to 8pm until December 28th featuring tons of gifts at great prices, like Lenox tableware, outdoor winter ware and an array of little somethings for everyone on your list.
